Survey Awareness

The Health Status Survey (HSS) is a household sample field survey conducted in the field of social statistics. The prevalence of drug use is a cause for concern for policy makers in most countries, as it is an important factor affecting the health and well-being of the population.

A household survey conducted by GASTAT in Saudi Arabia. Data is collected by communicating with a representative sample of Saudi and non-Saudi residents across all administrative regions of the Kingdom, including both occupied and unoccupied housing units. Interviews are conducted with household using an electronic questionnaire that contains a number of questions. It aims to provide estimates and indicators related to volunteer work and volunteer hours.

An index that measures the extent of changes in the level of optimism or pessimism of consumers toward the economy in the near future, through an economic survey on the opinions, views and conditions of consumers that are concerned with the current conditions in addition to their expectations of the upcoming economic conditions.

The Household Survey is conducted by the General Authority for Statistics, where data is collected through communication with a representative sample of Saudi and non-Saudi residents in all administrative regions of the Kingdom.
