Personal Data Protection Law, issued on 09/02/1443 H (corresponding to 16/09/2021), guarantees a set of rights for individuals whose personal data is processed within the systems of various entities, as outlined in Article 4 of the law. In compliance with this law, the General Authority for Statistics enables individuals to request access to their legally guaranteed rights, as specified in the Privacy Policy, provided that such requests do not conflict with the provisions of the law. These rights include the following:
Steps to provide the service
1- Right to be informed: Without prejudice to the provisions of the law, data subjects may request the legal basis and the purpose of the Collection of their Personal Data.
2- The Right to access personal data: Without prejudice to the provisions of the system, the owner of personal data can request access to his personal data available at the General Authority for Statistics taking into account the statutory requirements.
3- The right to request personal data: Without prejudice to the provisions of the system, the data subject may request a copy of their personal data available with the General Authority for Statistics in a readable and clear format, taking into account the regulatory requirements.
4- The right to request correcting personal data: Without prejudice to the provisions of the law, the owner of personal data may request to update, correct, or complete his personal data available with the General Authority for Statistics, while considering the regulatory requirements.
5- The right to request a destruction personal data: Without prejudice to the provisions of the system, the owner of personal data may request a destruction of his personal data available with the General Authority for Statistics, taking into account the regulatory requirements.
