التقى رئيس جامعة الباحة معالي أ.د عبدالله بن يحيى الحسين، رئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء فهد بن عبدالله الدوسري، وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث أوجه التعاون بين الجانبين في مجال اختصاصاتهما.
وناقش الطرفان فرص تعزيز الشراكة بين الجهتين، من خلال دعم البرامج الأكاديمية والبحثية، وتطوير القدرات الإحصائية لطلاب الجامعة، إضافة إلى إتاحة البيانات والمؤشرات الإحصائية لتعزيز جودة المخرجات التعليمية والبحثية.
وأكد معالي رئيس جامعة الباحة، أن الجامعة تفتح أبوابها للتعاون مع الهيئة العامة للإحصاء عبر المراكز البحثية في الجامعة، ومن خلال الأكاديميين في مختلف التخصصات؛ لإجراء الدراسات البحثية التي تدعم عمل الهيئة.
ومن جانبه، ثمّن رئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء الدور الذي تضطلع به جامعة الباحة في بناء القدرات البحثية والعلمية، مؤكداً أن الهيئة تسعى إلى توسيع شراكاتها مع الجهات التعليمية، لرفع كفاءة الخطط التنموية، ودعم اتخاذ القرار، من خلال تبادل البيانات الإحصائية، ومواكبة التطورات والممارسات الدولية المتبعة في الإحصاءات التعليمية.
