أحد مؤشرات أو معايير الرعاية الصحية المستخدم في المقارنات الدولية التي تعكس مدى تطور هذه الرعاية في نفس البلد من سنة إلى أخرى، ويحسب بقسمة عدد السكان المقيمين في منتصف سنة معينة على عدد الممرضين والممرضات العاملين في المستشفيات في نفس السنة، ويدل انخفاض هذا الرقم من سنة إلى أخرى على تطور الخدمات الصحية في هذا البلد،
English Definition
One of the most important health care indicators that can be used to conduct international comparisons. It reflects the country’s progress in health services. This indicator can be calculated by dividing the number of population at the middle of a given year by the total number of nurses who work in hospitals during the same year. The decrease in this number refers to having more advanced health services in the country.
